RoomForRent is operated by Room For Rent Ltd, registered in England and Wales, with its address at Queensbury Station Parade, Edgware, HA8 5NP. References to “we”, “us”, and “our” mean Room For Rent Ltd.

2. The website

This website is a marketing site. It provides information about our services and links through to the RoomForRent app, where rooms are listed, searched, and let. Searching, listing, messaging, and all transactions take place within the app and are subject to the app’s terms.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use the site lawfully and not to misuse it — for example by attempting to gain unauthorised access, introducing malicious code, or scraping content without permission.

• Do not use the site in any way that breaches applicable law or regulation.
• Do not attempt to interfere with the site’s security or availability.
• Do not copy or reproduce site content except as permitted below.

4. Content & intellectual property

All content on this site — including text, design, logos, and graphics — is owned by or licensed to Room For Rent Ltd and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for your own personal use but may not reproduce them commercially without our permission.

5. Listings, boosts & payments

Listing a room is free. Optional boost plans and the Verified Tenant badge are paid features purchased within the app. Boost plans are one-off payments for a fixed period and are not subscriptions. Pricing shown on this site is correct at the time of publication and may change. The terms of any purchase are those presented at the point of payment within the app.

6. Tenancy guarantee

The £10,000 tenancy guarantee is available on boost plans and covers unpaid rent and tenant-caused damage beyond the deposit, up to £10,000, subject to its full terms and eligibility criteria. The guarantee terms presented within the app prevail.

7. Disclaimers & liability

The site is provided “as is”. While we work to keep information accurate and up to date, we make no warranties that it is complete or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top shows when they last changed. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
